From Schreiner’s catalog, 2017: FULL TILT BOOGIE (Schreiner 2017) L. 36". BONUS. You be the judge. Full Tilt Boogie refers to the superlative level of an endeavor. Does our entry earn its appellation? We think so. It is carving its own niche. Smokey reddish purple falls combine with lighter purple standards, infused with umber brown at the base. In addition, attractive purple veining atop the falls, a lively medial stripe emanating from the orange beard, attractive light edging on the falls, and its lilting form spell Full Tilt Boogie. See for yourself at left. This intense floral wonder sports 8 buds per stalk, has 7" flowers and blooms late in the season. PPJ792-2 Indigo Seas sib X NNJJO.B. Seedling ZZ329-l. |
