From Fay catalog, 1956: Galilee (1956) $20.00 No. 53-86- Butterfly Blue X Bluebird Blue. A medium blue self with a white beard. Galilee is a beautiful real blue Iris which does not fade. The flowers are large, round and full petaled with no haft marks, ana are carried on a low-branched strong straight stem 28 to 30 inches tall. It sets seed well, but has no pollen. A very strong plant with blue-green leaves. H.C. 1955. |
