■(TB) 'Gallant Rogue'

1990, Blyth

'Gallant Rogue' (Barry Blyth by Keith Keppel, R. 1989). Seedling# Q101-X. TB, 37" (94 cm). Late midseason bloom. Standards pinkish lilac (M&P 42-C-5) lightly flushed rosier (44-G-2), toltec (11-B-7) brushing on midrib; falls reddish purple to black (darker than 48-L-8) with 1/6" aconite violet (44-1-7) rim, small crescent of white lines surrounding flame (1-C-12) beard; slight sweet fragrance. 'Tomorrow's Child' X 'Magic Man'. Keppel 1990. Honorable Mention 1994; Award of Merit 1996.
