Favorite Guest 1974; Honorable Mention 1975, Award of Merit 1977.

GAY PARASOL, despite all the buds huddling up at the top of the stalk, is a lovely little laced bicolor worth seeing in a clump. Orchid standards, rich, glowing red violet falls, much lace. It grows well, and the height is just right, meriting its being called dainty.
