From Carl Salbach catalog 1944: GAY SENORITA (Salbach 1944) . Big bold variegata that is simply stunning in the garden. Large round standards of clear deep honey yellow, broad semi-flaring falls with golden yellow ground color, heavily overlaid deep brown with deeper brown veining. Blooms are of heavy substance and very bright. Does not fade. 40" well branched stems. Early mid-season. $15.00. |
