'Gay Welcome' (George Coppedge, R. 1955). Seedling# L49-2. TB, 38" (97 cm), Midseason bloom. Color Class-Y4, Amoena. Standards light to dark mimosa yellow, falls white below beard, edged dark mimosa; beard buttercup yellow. 'White Ruffles' X 'Char-Maize'. Lyons 1956. HC 1955; HM 1957.

A delightfully ruffled mimosa yellow, shading from light to dark, with a buttercup yellow beard, surrounded by white. Flowers very long lasting. Exceptional branching. 38". Highly Commended 1955.
