'Glacier King' (Dudley Carson, R. 1985). Seedling# FBC-CB-1-79. TB, 34" (86 cm), Early midseason bloom and rebloom (late Fall in Oregon). Tailored glacial blue; pale yellow beard; pronounced spicy fragrance. 'Fall Blue Contrast' X 'Cloud Baron'. Avonbank Gardens 1986.

Lovely glacial blue that brings a modern flower combined with the rock-hardiness of the iris introductions of the late G. Percy Brown. Quite fertile either way. Spicy fragrance.
