From AIS Bulletin #189 April 1968 Introducing GLASS MENAGERIE (Herbert Spence). M-L. 34". RIPPLING WATERS X TOP OF THE WORLD. Wide ruffled flowers carried on beautifully branched, heavy stalks. Standards warm white, with a deep flush of peach at the base and extending into heart of flower. Falls warm cream-white with broad gold beard. Sister seedlings have blue-tipped beards and undoubtedly this carries the factor. Used with TONI MICHELE in the hope of producing a pink with a blue beard. Has unlimited breeding potential. Fertile both ways. 62-8-4 A. HC '67. Net $25.00. Tell's Iris Garden. |
