1983, Brown

'Glass Slippers' (Opal Brown, R. 1983). Seedling# 78-10D6. TB, 42" (107 cm), Midseason bloom. Standards pale flesh with pink (RHS 27C/D) flush; falls near white, pale flesh to amber at hafts, pale flesh reverse; soft marigold orange pink beard; ruffled. Seedling# 73-12B: (involving 'Snowblaze', 'Glacier Sunset', 'Lightning Ridge', 'Smoky Mountain') X seedling# 76-4C28: ('Pink Sleigh' x 'Rose Caress' sibling). Brown's Sunnyhill Gardens 1983.

From AIS Bulletin #249 April 1983 Introducing GLASS SLIPPERS (0. Brown) TB, 42", M. Pale salmon standards are ruffled and domed. Wide, ruffled, flaring falls are near white with amber-pink shoulders and soft orange-pink beards. Excellent branching and bud count. #78-10D6: Snowblaze line X (Pink Sleigh x Rose Caress sib). $25.00. Brown's Sunnyhill Gardens.
