Awaiting original catalog description |
From 1955 Cooley’s Iris Garden catalog: GLITTERING GOLD (Murray, 1955) Huge golden orange self, one of the very largest and most imposing Iris we have ever seen, anywhere! We purchased the stock in 1952 and intended to introduce it the following year but, while a grand grower in the South, it is slightly tender in cold or wet sections. If you live in the South or an arid section where it will succeed, you will swear that it should rate a Dykes Medal! HC AIS 1954. $10.00 |
