1995, Hamblen by Meek

'Glory Be' (Melba Hamblen by Duane Meek, selector, R. 1995). Seedling# H85-02B. TB, 34" (86 cm). Late midseason bloom. Standards soft tan, faint mauve shading; style arms deep yellow; falls creamy yellow, deeper hafts; beards brick; ruffled. 'Glorious Sunshine' X ('Sophistication' x 'Henna Accent'). D. & J. Gardens 1995.

From AIS Bulletin #297 April 1995 Introducing GLORY BE (M. Hamblen) TB, ML, 34". Closed soft tan standards with hint of mauve shading. Falls creamy yellow, deeper at hafts to match the styles. Brick beards. Petite flowers, petals nicely ruffled. 4 br., 7-9 buds. Glorious Sunshine X (Sophistication x Henna Accent). #H85-02B. $35.00. D&J Gardens.
