From AIS Bulletin #121, April 1951 GOLDEN DAYS ('49). A large brilliant yellow with substance like leather. Not tall, only 32 inches, but its large flowers make it command attention. Fine parent. $7.50. Ken Smith.
From Fleur De Lis Gardens catalog 1956: GOLDEN DAYS (Smith 1949) M. 32 in. Yellow plicata sdlg x (Lord Dongan x Yellow Glory). A very brilliant yellow with heavy substllnce and lovely ruffled form. 1.00.
