From AIS Bulletin #273 April 1989 Introducing GOLDEN GALAXY (Weiler 89) TB 35" M-L. A full, shimmering, deep yellow of beautiful smoothness with orange beards, this has broad petals, good substance and is sunfast. Stalks are 3-branched and carry 7-8 buds. For us this is a sporadic rebloomer, some years repeating in early summer. Two of the past 5 years it has also rebloomed in November, too late for most parts of the country. Other years it has failed to rebloom. It may be useful in breeding work with other reblooming cultivars. Good vigor, rapid increase and fertile. Flaming Victory X reblooming sib to Fame. $30.00. Rialto Gardens. |
