From AIS Bulletin #256 January 1985 Introducing GOLDEN SURREY-Sdlg. 82-27: (80-51 X 80-29). TB, 36", M. Overall color is a full shade of chrome yellow. Wide, ruffled, closed standards are chrome yellow. The 3-1/2" round, horizontal, fringed falls are white with a wide band of chrome yellow, very ruffled. Yellow beards tipped blue. Four branches with six or more buds. Fertile both ways. Very sunfast. Strong blood lines designed to produce a yellow or pink with blue beards.
