1988, Weiler

'Golden Velvet' (John Weiler, R. 1988). Seedling# 82-153-1. TB, 37" (94 cm). Early to midseason bloom. Standards cream to pale yellow; falls velvety smooth dark yellow; dark golden yellow beard; lightly ruffled; slight sweet fragrance. Seedling#79-87-1: ('Trudy' x Roe seedling# D10, greenish amoena) X 'Peach Sundae'. Rialto Gardens 1988.

Good stalks & modified candelabra branches display 8-9 flowers in sequence on vigorous plants with healthy foliage, 82-143-1: (Trudy x Roe 010 greenish amoena) X Peach Sundae. $30.00.
