'Goldie Ann' (F. E. Hutchings, R. 1972). Seedling# 70-69. TB, 40" (102 cm), Midseason bloom. Standards yellow (RHS 11B); falls blended yellow and violet (appearing light brown); yellow beard; ruffled. Seedling# 68-49A: (involving 'Melodrama', 'Ginger', 'My Honeycomb', 'Whole Cloth') X seedling# 65-83A: (involving 'Allaglow', 'Whole Cloth', 'My Honeycomb'). Tell 1973.

From AIS Bulletin #210 July 1973 Introducing GOLDIE ANN (Hutchings '73). EM. 36". Involved: Melodrama, Ginger, My Honeycomb, Whole Cloth, Brass Accents, Allaglow). Not just another variegata, but a quality one with brilliant finish and width. Standards golden tan; falls brown. Frank has named this for his spouse, so he must think it is worthy. #70-69 TB. Net $25.00. Tell's Garden.
