From Aitken’s Salmon Creek Garden, 2013: GOT THE POWER (Aitken '13) TB, 38" (97 cm) 8 or 9 buds, 'Sea Power' is a beautiful, award winning iris, but we would be happier if it grew more vigorously for us. We picked 'Swingtown' as the best candidate for a fix. We got the vigor and great health that it brings to the pedigree plus the super shape of 'Sea Power'. The color is a deep rich sea blue with an unique narrow burgundy fall rim that also spreads out over the haft area. Beards are deep blue and frost tipped. Robust, well branched bloom stems reach up through the blue-green foliage. Fertility unknown. Sdlg. #05Tl 9 (Swing Town X Sea Power) - photo.front cover - $50.00. |
