Donald Spoon, R. 2004). Seedling# 97-24A. TB, 36" (91 cm). Early to midseason bloom. Deep purple-black self (much darker than (RHS 79A), Standards lighter (79A) edge, falls grading to (79A) edges, lavender blue sunburst between dark venation around beards; beards lavender blue tipped lighter; ruffled, flared; pronounced grape fragrance.
