'Grapes Of Wrath' (John Durrance, R. 1989). Seedling# D86-65. TB, 32" (81 cm), Midseason to late bloom. Heavily ruffled and swirled grape purple. 'Bubbling Over' X 'Navy Strut'. Long's Gardens 1989.

From AIS Bulletin #273 April 1989 Introducing GRAPES OF WRATH (John Durrance) TB 32" M. Sdlg. D86-65. While in bud, this novelty resembles a bunch of grapes. It opens to reveal an extremely ruffled deep wine purple. Bubbling Over X Navy Strut. $30.00. Long's Gardens.
