From Treholme Gardens catalog 1931: GWENDOLYN (Bodley 1921, H.M. A.I.S. 1921 E.87, G.87, M.S. 36". An attractive pink toned blend; rich orange beard; delicately scented. It is vigorous and free flowering over a long period. A variety which has not had the distribution which it deserves. While the flower is not large yet it is of such good form, substance and color that it is sure to be appreciated. An artistic and beautiful flower.
