■(TB) 'Gypsy Glitter'

2002, Worel

'Gypsy Glitter' (Jack Worel, R. 2002). Seedling# G+G2. TB, 34" (86 cm). Midseason bloom. Standards and style arms medium yellow (RHS 3C), slightly darker at base; falls light barium yellow (10C) overlaying white, 1/4" purple (lighter than 77A) marginal band with additional 1/4" blended into yellow; beards yellow, lighter at end; slight sweet fragrance. 'Gypsy Woman' X 'Glitz 'n Glitter'. Holly Lane 2002.

  • TB 'Gypsy Glitter' was blooming at the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum, zone 4b, approximately May 30 - June 8, in 2017. Although I didn't notice any Purple Based Foliage at the base of the leaves, 'Gypsy Glitter' does have purple coloring on its spathes. -- HollyJohnson2017-04-01 - 29 Aug 2017
