From AIS Bulletin #237 April 1980 Introducing GYPSY MAGIC (Dennis '80). TB. 30". EM. Sdlg. 77-4: (Mauna Loa Magic Tambourine). Domed standards of light yellow. Wide, semi·flaring falls of light violet feather-shading to an uneven border of dark orange. Yellow beard. Lightly ruffled. As colorful and mysterious as the dress of the wandering gypsies of the past. Not as tall as I would like but the stalks, bearing two branches and terminal, stand up well in the strong winds that seem to be a part of the bloom season here in the Ozarks. $25.00. Paul Dennis.
