'Halley's Comet' (Evelyn Barkdull, R. 1961). Seedling# B58-05. TB, 38" (97 cm), Midseason to late bloom. Color Class-Y5P, Standards blended peach-pink shading to cream yellow; falls golden yellow; tangerine beard. 'Palomino' X 'Limelight'. Tell 1962.

From Tell’s Gardens catalog, 1962:HALLEY'S COMET (Evelyn Barkdull) Midseason Late 40". (Palomino x Limelight) Stunningly different bicolor. Standards peach-apricot, falls golden yellow with a slightly lighter area below the very wide, lush, tangerine beard. Excellent stalk and branching. First prize in seedlings at Logan, Utah, and Exhibition Certificate 1961 # B59-05. $25.00
