'Halo In Yellow' (O. David Niswonger, R. 1989). Seedling# 58-85. TB, 34" (86 cm), Midseason bloom. Standards yellow; falls white, edged yellow; yellow beard; ruffled. 'Exuberant' X seedling# 35-82: ('Peppermint Crush' x 'Chartreuse Ruffles'). Cape Iris 1989.

From AIS Bulletin #273 April 1989 Introducing HALO IN YELLOW (Niswonger '89) Sdlg. 58-85: Exhuberant X 35-82: (Peppermint Crush x Chartreuse Ruffles). TB, 34", M. A glowing yellow is first seen then, through the ruffles, appears a white area sharply rimmed yellow on the falls. The brightness of this iris will catch your attention fast as you scan a bed of irises in full bloom--a beautiful sight to behold. Fertile both ways. $35.00. Cape Iris.
