1976, Zurbrigg

'Halt' (Lloyd Zurbrigg, R. 1976). Seedling# 78. TB, height 37" (94 cm), Midseason bloom and occasional rebloom. Pale yellow with trace of palest violet, deep yellow hafts; violet-blue beard, pale yellow base. Seedling# 67-13-G: ('Commentary' x 'Purple Duet') X 'O My Goodness'. Avonbank 1976.

From AIS Bulletin #221 April 1976 Introducing HALT. YELLOW, BLUE BEARD. Light, slightly blended yellow with deep yellow haft and blue beard. 37", 3 & T, exc., 9-12 buds. Remontant in early October in Virginia. Very fertile both ways. $50.00. Avonbank Iris Gardens.
