From Bay View Gardens catalog,1983: HANDIWORK. 34 inches, mid to late season. $25.00. This Mystique grandchild brings a new pattern to the iris world. The marbled neglecta; a fancy plicata-neglecta pattern. The erect standards are blue-violet over a white ground. The flaring falls have a white ground marbled blue-violet. There is a distinct white area around the blue-white beard. A very vigorous creation that will produce several stalks in one year. Truly unique and beautiful. No. 77-77Y: (Premonition X Barletta), Best Seedling, San Jose, 1981. |
