'Harvest Splendor' (Rudolph Kleinsorge, R. 1956). Seedling# 442. TB, 32" (81 cm). Midseason bloom. Color Class-Y5, Blended bicolor. Standards light golden-brown suffused lavender; falls. bright gold, gold beard. Seedling# 422: (seedling# 409 x 'New Horizon') x seedling# 373-B: ('Cascade Splendor' x 'Daybreak'). Cooley 1956.

From Cooley's Gardens catalog for 1956: "A smooth blend of gold and apricot, the standards solid apricot faintly tinted rose, the falls bright old gold shading to apricot near the margins. Beard is orange-yellow. The flowers are well tailored, just slightly wavy at the edges of the falls. Substance is thick and the petal surface glistens with myriad golden particles. A clump produces lots of bloom thus making it an ideal variety for mass effect in the garden."
