From Cooley's Gardens catalog for 1956: "A smooth blend of gold and apricot, the standards solid apricot faintly tinted rose, the falls bright old gold shading to apricot near the margins. Beard is orange-yellow. The flowers are well tailored, just slightly wavy at the edges of the falls. Substance is thick and the petal surface glistens with myriad golden particles. A clump produces lots of bloom thus making it an ideal variety for mass effect in the garden." |
