'Haunting Rhapsody' (Joseph Ghio, R. 1967). Seedling# 64-260C. TB Re, 40" (102 cm), Early to late bloom. Lavender-orchid self; bluish beard. 'Marie Phillips' X 'Mahalo'. Bay View 1968. Honorable Mention 1971.

From AIS Bulletin #189, April 1968 Introducing HAUNTING RHAPSODY. $25. A metallic lavender-orchid with a picotee edge and white beard. Re-blooms for us. Very vigorous and floriferous. (Marie Phillips X Mahalo). Bay View Gardens.
From Bay View Gardens catalog,1969: HAUNTING RHAPSODY 40 inches, E. A different color best described as a lavender-orchid. The beard is blue-white and there is a lighter area in the center of the fall. Good branching shows the lilting, lightly ruffled blooms with picotee edges to perfection. Reblooms for us. (Marie Phillips X Mahalo). $20.00
