Bernard Hamner, R. 1976). Seedling# 73-9. TB, 35" (89 cm), Early to midseason bloom. Standards fuchsia pink, flushed violet (RHS 74D); Falls amethyst violet (84A) with violet-blue blush when newly opened; tangerine beard.

From AIS Bulletin #225 Spring 1977 Introducing HEATHER BLUSH-TB, 34-36", EM. Strong, upright stands are fuchsia pink enhanced by a prominent violet-blue blush on newly opened flowers. The ruffled, horizontal falls are amethyst-violet. Beard is tangerine. Good branching and growth habits, 7-8 buds.
