'High Contrast' (Evelyn Robarts, R. 1987). Seedling# 7-9-1. TB, 40" (102 cm), Midseason bloom. Standards light violet blue; falls very pale violet blue; light orange beard; ruffled; slight fragrance. ('Christmas Time' x 'Pink Sleigh') X 'Sea Lure'. Stahly 1987.

From AIS Bulletin #265 April 1987 Introducing HIGH CONTRAST (Robarts '87) TB, 40", M. Light violet-blue standards, very pale violet-blue falls fading to white; light orange beards. Good stalks with excellent bud placement produce 7-9 large well-formed blooms. This is a striking very contrasty reverse amoena. Fertile.
