From Fleur De Lis Gardens catalog 1961: HIGH NOTE (Tomp. '61) E.L. 42 in. (Sister to Herald Angel). A very brilliant, extremely deep toned pink with a vivid orange undertone. Its bright coloring is accented by an ultra smooth finish and a flambouyant beard of marashino red. A sister to Herald Angel, this is a bit larger but has the same beautiful form and ruffling. The fashioning is the same with well domed standards and broad flaring falls. This is just as good a grower as its sister and has the same type of stalks and as many flowers. No. 58-2H….$25.00. |
