From Quality Gardens catalog 1931: HONEYDROP (Morrison 1929) M. 36". This variety attracted a great deal of attention last year and is the finest Iris that we have seen originated by Mr. Morrison. The flowers are of very large size. S. lemon suffused pale brown. F. deep red brown over lemon yellow. In color effect it is an exquisite blend of henna, brown, honey and old rose, absolutely unique in color and exquisitely beautiful. A very finely branched, sturdy grower. $25.00.
