The best pale blue, close to what we know as sky-blue is Horizon (Morrison) ; tall, gracefully poised blooms, fine growth, fine form and substance, large, clear color, and unsurpassed by any other Iris from freedom of bloom. A well grown clump will be a mass of bloom stalks, such a mass as to excite the wonder of the beholder that so many can be produced by so relatively small a clump, yet exist as a clump thereafter.
