From Rainbow Hybridizing Gardens catalog 1963: HORNED FLARE (Austin '63) 32". If you like them stiff & flaring this is the horned Iris for you; probably the most flaring & among largest Iris in my 3 horned races, usually spreading out to 7". Colored in melting, uniform amber pink, with orange beards ending in pronounced horns mostly 1/2" to 1", often slightly spooned or frilled. Fabulous Fringes x Farewell.
