From Rainbow Hybridizing Gardens catalog 1964: HORNED SKYLARK (Austin '57) ML-52". Towers above all ordinary Iris. Standards light yellow, beautifully waved. Falls nearly horizontal, cream with light yellow edge. Very prominent, fully bearded horn an inch long. Wonderful for breeding. Seed parent of two introductions, Horned Lace and Lacy Lantern.
