1969, Markham

'Hot Canary' (Lynn Markham, R. 1967). Seedling# 64-23A. TB, 33" (84 cm), Early midseason bloom. Vivid yellow (Munsell 5Y 8/12) self with matching beard; slightly frilled. Markham seedling# 61-9D2 (red-brown sibling to 'Mohawk Trail') X 'Robert Smithwood'. Markham 1969.
