This redhot number is a distinct novelty, contains much Onco blood and may be a valuable breeder—it is untried. The form is flaring with broad falls and domed and overlapping standards and heavy substance. Good branching for the type. It is slightly bitone, with chrome yellow standards and green tinged yellow falls, the whole splattered and splashed with brilliant ruby red. A very good grower and hardy as an oak.
