'Hottie' (Paul Black, R. 2018). Seedling W27A. TB, 32" (81 cm), Early to midseason bloom. Standards dark garnet; style arms mid old gold, mid mauve-brown crest and stripe on each side; falls velvety dark garnet, darker haft and line down petal, cream haft lined and sanded dark garnet; beards marigold in throat and middle, ends light marigold over white; slight sweet fragrance. Seedling P24A: ('House Afire' x seedling L21B: ('Good Humor' x 'Weekend Update')) X seedling U63, purple sibling: (seedling P200D, 'Feast of Kings' sibling, x 'Gaudy Is Good'). Mid-America 2018. Honorable Mention, 2023.
