From Mid-America Garden catalog, 2011: HOWLER (T.Johnson ‘11) TB Late 36” (91cm). Howler is very pretty and consistently well-formed. This isn't the case with a number of space age irises. Medium pink of standards repeats in slightly warmer pink bands around warm white falls. Light tangerine beards end in cute little upturned lilac horns. Strong stalks are well-branched and carry 7-8 buds. Could easily be 'Best of Show'. Sdlg. TZ164A: Power Point sib X (Ballet Royale x Corps de Ballet. $50.00. |
