From AIS Bulletin #201 April 1971 Introducing I Spy (Sdlg. 65-26B-20) Northern Spy X Double Majesty. This is the largest Northern Spy seedling I have raised and it has been constantly large for three years, both spring and fall. Falls flare horizontally and standards hold together tightly. Stems are 36", well branched and strong. Darker than Northern Spy or Southern Spy, it brings the growing qualities of this line into a large-sized flower, which reblooms two weeks earlier. Fertile. $15.00. Avonbank Iris Gardens. |
