From Keith Keppel Iris catalog, 2017: IMPERIAL GUARD L 38” ((Naughty Nights sib x Decadence) X Espionage) #10-59E. His uniform is for pomp, with extravagant ruffling and even a hint of lace on close inspection. Quince yellow standards carry a faint plumbago blue flush up the midrib. Falls are dark red purple with quarter-inch lighter marginal veining and narrow sandalwood edge, while the haft area is buckthorn brown and white. A wood violet center line leads to abbey violet beards top layered mustard in the throat. Stalwart seven-budded sentinel to watch over the close of the bearded iris festivities. $50.00. |
