1999, Sutton

'Innocent Star' (George Sutton, R. 1998). Seedling# H-145. TB, 35" (89 cm), Early midseason bloom and rebloom. Standards white, washed dark beetroot (RHS 71); style arms dark beetroot and cream; falls yellow and white ground, edged, veined and dotted dark beetroot; beards cream, hairs tipped beetroot; ruffled; slight sweet fragrance. 'Innocence Abroad' X 'Rock Star'. Sutton 1999.

  • TB 'Innocent Star' was blooming at the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum, zone 4b, approximately May 23 - 30, in 2017. Although I didn't notice any purple based foliage at the base of the leaves, 'Innocent Star' has purple coloring on its spathes. -- HollyJohnson2017 -04-01 - 15 Sep 2017
