1971, Hinkle

'Irish Dream' (Georgia Hinkle, R. 1964). Seedling# T-23-4. TB, 36" (91 cm). Midseason bloom. Color Class-Y1P, Light lemon-cream self including beard. 'Lasata' X Hinkle seedling R-15-1: ('Le Beau' seedling x 'Yesteryear' seedling). Wild & Son 1971.

From 1971 Gilbert Wild catalog: IRISH DREAM (Georgia Hinkle, 1971) T-23-4. M. 34-36”. Light lemon yellow self including wide, thick beard. Standards full and ruffled with serrated edging. Falls semi-flaring; very wide touching hafts with pleated ruffling extending into heart of bloom. Long lasting, very large blooms are of superb substance. In spite of size—blooms are well proportioned. Moderate branching on the sturdy stalks. One of the best yellows we have ever grown! Parentage: LASATA x R-15-1 (LeBeau sdlg. x Yesteryear sdlg.) H.C., 1964.
