2004, Lauer

'Irish Gold' (Larry Lauer, R. 2003). Seedling# 407-31. TB, 41" (104 cm), Late midseason bloom. Standards canary yellow (RHS 9A); style arms sulphur yellow (7A); falls mineral violet (85C) center flush, buttercup yellow (15A) rim; beards sea lavender violet (86C) at end, straw yellow (13C), to buttercup yellow in throat; ruffled; slight sweet fragrance. Seedling# 89-39-1: ('Blowtorch' x seedling# 86-20: ('Nancy Glazier' x 'Brandy')) X seedling# 91-231: (seedling# 86-4: ('Brandy x 'Roselene') x 'Triple Whammy'). Lauer 2004. Honorable Mention 2006.
