(TB) 'Ivory Flute'

1969, Brown

'Ivory Flute' (Rex Brown, R. 1968). Seedling# 63-86-14. TB, 36" (91 cm), Early midseason bloom. Color Class-W1G, Standards greenish ivory-white, ruffled and lacy; falls greenish ivory-white and touch of smooth light yellow at haft, very fluted and ruffled; light yellow beard. 'Queen's Choice' X 'Lovilla'. Brown's Iris Gard 1969.

From AIS Bulletin #193 April 1969 Introducing IVORY FLUTE. #63-86-14. Queen's Choice X Lovilia. 36". A large, heavily fluted and laced flower of greenish ivory-white with smooth brushing of yellow at the hafts and yellow beard. Four-way branching and 10-12 buds for long bloom season. $25.00.
