Original catalog description "JANE HOFFORD This great iris is a full sister to Arlene Wood and is identical in every way except in color. The flower opens a full rich cream, aging to soft cream in the Standards and the falls to a cream white center edged in lemon which js enhanced by the intense ruffling of the whole flower. Excellent branching, a good producer. It blooms at the same time as Arlene Wood and as stated above, cannot be told from each other except in color. Here again we have the clean haft and a beard of matching lemon. Both of these great iris are sold with the understanding that if they do not come up to the above descriptions, the buyer may select the amount paid for them in any item from our listing. The PRICE is only $10.00 each and if both of them are purchased at the same time, the price shall be $17.50 for both of them. Prepaid to your door about July Sth."
