1962, Babson

'Jealousy' (Sanford Babson, R. 1962) Seedling# 1-76-3. TB, 38" (97 cm), Midseason bloom. Standards ecru, green tinge at maturity, lavender flush on opening; falls same. ('Spanish Peaks' x 'Vatican Purple') X (('Snow Flurry' x blue seedling) x 'Great Lakes'). Melrose 1962. Honorable Mention 1964.

From AIS Bulletin #165, April 1962. Introducing JEALOUSY (Sanford Babson) 40" (Pod parent, same as above (Blarney Stone)) X ((G65 blue sdlg.: Snow Flurry x blue sdlg.) X (Great Lakes)). Big, very wide, ruffled flowers. Ecru underlying a definite green tinge. Lavender cast on opening. Well branched, strong stem. Net $15.00. Melrose.
