The most stunning and shockingly brilliant red plicata we have seen to date; this snowy white and rich red child of Rimfire has massive, beautifully formed flowers on strong, tall, many branched stalks that carry several buds per socket, giving it a very long blooming season. The extra large flowers are heavily substanced, broad petaled and of an unusually beautiful form with tall conically domed and pointed, near rocket-like tipped standards and flaring, gently fluted falls of glistening satiny white, bordered with a bright red that encircles the falls to meet the rich orange bronze beard set on the wide richly colored haft. This same bright red color continues in a near solid pattern over the outside of the standards which retain a pure snowy white coloring on the inner sides almost to their tips thus offsetting the white style arms which are tipped bright red.
