'Karaminka' (Rita Caldwell, R. 1988). Seedling# 386-1. TB, 36-38" (91-96 cm), Early to midseason bloom. Medium ginger brown; tan beard tipped yellow. 'Veneer' X ('Anointed' x seedling# CA79-3: ('Caramba' x (((('Lilac Champagne' x 'Sunset Snows') x ('Sunset Snows' x 'Campus Flirt')) x ('Barcelona' x 'Outer Limits')) x 'Spanish Gift'))). Tempo Two 1991/92.

From Tempo Two catalog, 1991: KARAMINKA (Caldwell 91 Aust) E-M 36"·38". This has been a popular Iris as a seedling in Rita Caldwell's garden and in the trial garden. It is a self of medium ginger brown with tan beards tipped yellow. A bright sparkly Iris with lots of buds giving a long season and a pedigree that could give plicatas, bicolours and selfs. (Caramba x ((((Lilac Champagne x Sunset Snows) x (Sunset Snows x Campus Flirt)) x (Barcelona x Outer Limits) x Spanish Gift))) HC 90. $25.00.
